Ways to Contribute

So many ways to help the Impire grow:

Add New Information: Remember that one stream where mimi did da thing? Yeah, that needs to be documented. Lore drops, iconic moments, collabs, community events — if it happened, it belongs here!
Correct Errors: Typos? Broken links? Outdated info from the Camila pre-1.0-2.0-3.0-post era? Hunt them down and fix them! (we’re all editors here)
Suggest New Pages: Got an idea for a legendary event or meme that deserves its own page? We’re listening! Drop it in Discord and let’s make it happen.
Improve Existing Content: See a page that’s kinda bland? Spice it up! Add timestamps, VOD links, trivia, or just make it more fun to read. (keep it chaotic but organized xdx)
Hunt for Evidence: Find that one clip everyone’s been looking for? Link it! Screenshots, VOD timestamps, community quotes — evidence is everything.

Getting Started

Lurk First: Browse around to understand the vibe. Check out pages like the Camila or Cimp entries to get the tone.
Start Small: New to contributing? Fix a typo, add a missing link, or drop a fun fact in a Trivia section. Easy peasy!
Write Like a Cimp: Enthusiastic, playful, with jokes and community slang, u know, this isn’t Wikipedia… it’s the Impire Wiki!

Wait, Why Can’t I Just Edit Pages Directly?

Unlike traditional wikis (Fandom, Wikipedia, etc.), the Impire Wiki is built as a static site using modern web tech (Astro + Starlight if you’re curious). This means:

Pages are code files, so each wiki page is written in MDX format and lives in a repository.
No “Edit” button, you can’t just click and type like on Wikipedia. Changes go through me (.teco).
Quality control, this keeps spam, vandalism, and off-vibe content out while ensuring everything matches our chaotic but organized style.
Better performance, static sites load fast and don’t need databases, making it snappier for everyone browsing the lore.

TL;DR: I made the decision to keep the wiki high-quality, fast, and maintain the vibe, rather than having an edit system (at least for now). But don’t worry, your contributions are still wanted and valued! You just send them to me and I’ll add them.

If you want to contribute directly to the codebase, please DM me on Discord and I’ll guide you through the process.

I’ll review it and merge if it fits the vibe. This is perfect for adding new pages, fixing bugs, or implementing features. Just make sure you follow the style guide! (or I’ll make you rewrite it xdx)

How to Make Changes

Ready to contribute? Here’s the process:

Join the Discussion: Head to the official Camila Discord server and share your ideas! Or DM me directly on Discord (I don’t bite… much ).
Be Specific: When suggesting edits or new content, give details! Include VOD links, timestamps, screenshots, or quotes. The more evidence, the better.
Respect the Vibe: Keep it fun, keep it positive, and keep it respectful. We tease mimi with love, never malice. (she’s our fav bottom brat after all)
